In line with the **[official Polygon Labs announcement](https://forum.polygon.technology/t/sunsetting-polygon-zkevm-mainnet-beta-in-2026/21020/1)** to sunset the Polygon zkEVM Mainnet Beta in 2026, PancakeSwap will begin phasing out all products and services on Polygon zkEVM starting **29 July 2025 at 05:00 UTC**.

## What Does This Mean for You?

Polygon Labs **[has shared](https://forum.polygon.technology/t/sunsetting-polygon-zkevm-mainnet-beta-in-2026/21020/1)** that the zkEVM sequencer will remain active for the next 12 months, and users will always be able to withdraw their assets via forced transactions. However, this process may become increasingly complex, especially for less technical users.

To ensure a smooth and secure experience for our community, PancakeSwap will gradually retire all functionalities tied to Polygon zkEVM in line with Polygon's sunset timeline.

## Key Dates & Transition Plan

### Starting 29 July 2025 at 05:00 UTC

The following PancakeSwap features on Polygon zkEVM will no longer be available:

- **[Fiat On-Ramp (Buy Crypto)](https://pancakeswap.finance/buy-crypto?chain=polygonZkEVM):** Support for purchasing crypto assets like ETH (zkEVM) via fiat on Polygon zkEVM will be fully removed.
- **[Farms:](https://pancakeswap.finance/liquidity/pools)** No active farms are available, and farming support on Polygon zkEVM is officially deprecated.
- **[Bridge](https://pancakeswap.finance/bridge):** Users will no longer be able to bridge assets **to** zkEVM via the PancakeSwap Bridge.
- **[Liquidity Pool Deposits (v2 & v3)](https://pancakeswap.finance/liquidity/pools):** Adding new liquidity to v2 and v3 pools on Polygon zkEVM via the PancakeSwap interface will be disabled.

1\. **Bridging Assets from Polygon zkEVM**
- Bridging assets (e.g. USDT, ETH, CAKE) **from** Polygon zkEVM via the **[PancakeSwap Bridge](https://pancakeswap.finance/bridge)** is no longer supported.
- Bridging functionality has been **officially deprecated and permanently removed** from the PancakeSwap interface
- Users may explore third-party options such as LayerZero to bridge CAKE or other tokens after this date. Please note these services **are not maintained or supported by PancakeSwap.**

1\. **Polygon zkEVM Liquidity Pool Withdrawals (v2 and v3):**
- Withdrawal functionality for LP positions on Polygon zkEVM has been **officially deprecated and permanently removed** from the PancakeSwap main interface.

## **Getting Started**

Click **Connect Wallet** in the top right corner. No account creation or KYC required - your wallet is your account.

PancakeSwap Perps has two trading modes: **Simple** and **Pro**. You can switch between them at any time without affecting your open positions.

Simple Mode is designed for traders who are new to perps trading. Set your size, pick your leverage, and tap UP or DOWN - that’s it.

### **Choose a trading pair**

Tap the pair name at the top of the page to open the asset selector. A wide variety of token pairs are available.

### **Set your position size (“My Bet”)**

Enter how much you want to put in, or tap the preset buttons - **25%**, **50%**, or **MAX** - to size your position as a portion of your available perp fund balance.

### **Set your leverage**

Use the slider or tap a preset - **50x**, **100x**, **150x**, or **200x** - to set your leverage. Your current multiplier is shown in large text above the slider.

When leverage is high enough to carry meaningful liquidation risk, an **Amplified Risk** indicator appears as a reminder.

- Tap **UP then DOWN** - the positions cancel out, returning you to flat.

Think of each tap as adding or subtracting one unit in a direction. It’s a fun way to scale in or out of a trade.

### **Choose a trading pair**

Same as Simple Mode - tap the pair name at the top to open the asset selector.

### **Analyze the chart**

The built-in TradingView chart lets you analyze price action before placing your trade. All standard charting tools are available.

### **Set your position parameters**

In the order panel, configure the following:

- **Long or Short** - select the direction of your trade
- **Leverage** - use the slider or type manually to set your leverage (up to 200x on BTC)
- **Order type** - Market (fills immediately) or Limit (fills at your chosen price)
- **Position size** - enter the size of your trade in your preferred reference currency
- **Take Profit and Stop Loss** (optional) - set TP so your position closes automatically when your target gain is reached, and SL so your position closes to limit losses at a set threshold

Once all parameters are set, click **Buy / Long** or **Sell / Short** to submit your order.
