Anticipating the big day, we held an AMA with Kay from the ListaDAO team to get to know the project more before!

### **Opening Words from ListaDAO**

Kay: Hi there everyone, My name is Kay, I am the Marketing Manager at Lista DAO. Super excited to meet you all!

#### **Let’s begin with the Questions!**

**[Q1]: What is ListaDAO?**

Answer: Lista DAO functions as a open-source liquidity protocol where users can borrow our  stablecoin, lisUSD, against a variety of crypto assets including ETH, BNB, and their respective LRTs & LSTs. 

Additionally, we also have our own liquid staking infrastructure where users can deposit BNB & mint slisBNB. We currently have over  $550M  in TVL and we plan to continue growing within the LSDfi space, becoming the heart of LSDfi on BNB chain.


**[Q2]: What makes Lista DAO stand out from the rest of its competitors?**

Answer: One of the Largest TVL in terms of decentralized stablecoin on BNBchain, offering 10% APR in real yield , a very safe option for users to participate in.

Other than just being a CDP protocol, we have our own LST infrastructure for slisBNB.

**[Q3]:  lisUSD has a single staking pool of ~10%, which is impressive for a stablecoin, but how does lisUSD generate yield?**

Answer: We generate yield from borrow rates, liquid staking rates, withdrawal fees, liquidation fees, etc, and a portion of these fees are directed towards lisUSD single staking pool, rewarding ~10% APR in lisUSD rewards.

**[Q4]: What is the CAC campaign and what can users expect in Season 3?**

Answer: Season 3 will operate in short cycles called “Epochs.” Each Epoch lasts around seven days, for example from Saturday to Friday (UTC +0). Allowing rules to be adjusted based on real-time observations and participant feedback, updated every epoch.

And for S3: Starting from 20th June, 2024, users will have a 30-day window to claim their airdrop allocation via the Lista DAO website.Any tokens not claimed by July 19, 2024, at 23:59 UTC will be redirected to support the ecosystem’s development initiatives.

**[Q5]: What are some of the latest updates that Lista DAO is excited about? What can users look forward to in the upcoming quarter?**

Answer:  - TGE  : in three days

solvBTC, BTCB (entry into BTCfi market)

### Live Q&A Session

**Q1: What are the minimum collateral requirements to borrow lisUSD? Are there different risk assessments based on the type of collateral used?**

Answer: The minimum amount to borrow is 15 lisUSD. Different classed assets have different collateral ratios. For example BNB min collateral ratio is 150%, ETH is 110%, where ezETH is 200%.

**Q2: How does the protocol differentiate itself from other decentralized stablecoin protocols, and what are the key competitive advantages?**

Answer: Destablecoins differ from the conventional 4 stablecoin types currently in the market. There are four main types of stablecoins:

Fiat-backed (BUSD)
Crypto-backed (DAI)
Algorithmic (USDD)
Commodity-backed (PAXG).

Like other crypto-backed stablecoins, destablecoins will utilise the overcollateralized model backed by crypto assets such as DAI. However, the key differences are:

Destablecoins are fully decentralized. Crypto-backed stablecoins such as DAI leverage on centralized crypto assets such as USDC, while destablecoins such as lisUSD will use decentralized assets as collateral. Additionally, destablecoins will also leverage liquid-staked assets.

Secondly, destablecoins aims to achieve stability broadly without an absolute peg fiat currencies. All currencies are different and have varying reference rates, so price fluctuations should be considered a norm defined by the market instead of aiming for a sense of absolute price stability at all cost. Similarly with destablecoins, it does not aim to achieve absolute price parity with US $1 as a primary objective nor rely on fiat assets as the backed collateral.

**Q3: How is @lista_dao involved in educating the broader public about blockchain technology, and what initiatives or programs are in place to raise awareness and provide educational resources?**

Answer: Hi there, Thanks for asking!

Lista DAO, as a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, inherently educates the public about blockchain technology through direct participation. By engaging with our platform, users gain firsthand experience with key concepts like collateralization, borrowing, yield farming, and governance in the blockchain space. This participatory approach allows users to learn by doing, which is often more impactful than theoretical knowledge alone.

Additionally, Lista DAO is proactive in raising awareness and educating the broader public through various initiatives. We have developed a range of campaigns, detailed guides, and incentives designed to enhance user understanding and engagement. These resources are tailored to guide new users through the complexities of DeFi and blockchain, ensuring they can participate effectively and understand the underlying mechanisms.

**Q4: Strategic partnership is key to the solidity of every project. In this course, Can you tell us more about the your ecosystem partner program? which companies are you currently partnering with? are you planning to get new partners? and What kind of partnership are you looking for?**

Answer: Yes, Strategic partnerships are very important.  Here is a list of our partners.

After our TGE and the veLISTA token, our community will get to decide which partnership or integrations they will prefer, and our community can vote on partnerships.

**Q5: Why did you decide to build your platform on the BNB Blockchain, what's the reasons and will  @lista_dao  build on other Blockchains probably in the future?**

Answer: One of the reasons we are built on BNB chain is that it offers High Performance and Scalability. The BNB Chain offers high transaction throughput and low latency, which are essential for DeFi applications that require fast and efficient processing. Its ability to handle a large volume of transactions at lower costs compared to other platforms is particularly beneficial for a liquidity protocol like Lista DAO, where quick and economical transactions are crucial.

We plan to build on the Ethereum blockchain next, Building on Ethereum will allow Lista DAO to reach a broader audience, integrate with a larger array of DeFi products, and continue to innovate in the space.

Welcome back to a new episode of "Interviews in the Kitchen"! This time, we're thrilled to introduce you to one of the key architects behind PancakeSwap's seamless operations, Chef Mist.

As the Smart Contract Dev Lead at PancakeSwap, Chef Mist has been instrumental in developing and maintaining the secure and efficient smart contracts that power our platform. 

His expertise and approach ensure that our kitchen remains at the forefront of DeFi technology.

### Questions:

**1. Hi Mist! Please tell us briefly about your background and how you ended up in the PancakeSwap Kitchen.**

I first got into the space back in 2018 during the ICO era, although my initial attempt as an investor didn't go so well. However, that experience sparked my curiosity about the technical side of things, and I started exploring web3 development on the side. Coming from a web2 background, I began working full-time with web3 firms in 2021. About a year ago, an opportunity came up with the smart contract team at PCS, and I took it. That's how my adventure with PCS began!

**2. As the Smart Contract Dev Lead, what are your main responsibilities at PancakeSwap?**

Back when I was a developer, my main responsibility was to ensure that tasks were completed with quality and on time. Now, as a lead, my primary responsibility is to empower my colleagues to achieve the same level of excellence.

By the way, we are still looking for experienced [Solidity developers](https://docs.pancakeswap.finance/team/become-a-chef/solidity-engineer) to join our team full-time. If you're interested, please reach out!

**3. How do you ensure the security and efficiency of PancakeSwap's smart contracts? Can we say PancakeSwap is a safe project regarding smart contracts risks?** 

At PancakeSwap, security is one of our top priorities because we have many users who trust us with their funds. From the very beginning of the development process, we have fellow developers reviewing the code from a security perspective, along with rigorous QA and audits before deploying anything to production. 

You might have seen from our recent tweet that we hired three external audit firms for our v4, which wasn't cheap, but it shows our commitment to safety.

**4. You are involved in the PancakeSwap v4 launch, what can you tell us about that development and the challenges that it gives?**

The main challenge is dealing with the 'unknown'. PancakeSwap v4 offers a lot of potential for innovation, especially since external developers can now add features to the liquidity pool via hooks. This means that PCS is not just building for retail users anymore but also considering how to become a preferred platform for external developers.

Despite the challenges, we are very excited about v4. That's why you've been seeing PCS at live events more often recently, like ETHGlobal in London and Brussels, with more to come!

**5. I noticed that you spoke at the last PancakeSwap journey at ETHGlobal Brussels and participated in the hackathon series. How was that experience for you and the quality of the Hooks submission?** 

It was a valuable (and tiring) experience. Our team received a lot of feedback, both positive and negative, from the hackathon participants regarding v4. We've gathered all that feedback and will continue to make improvements to our platform to make it easier for developers to onboard PancakeSwap v4.

The quality of the Hooks submissions has significantly improved compared to the last hackathon. It's great to see the space mature in its understanding of Hooks. Some of the ideas developed during the hackathon are definitely viable in the real world! We can’t wait to see how things pan out when we launch PancakeSwap v4 on the mainnet.

**6. How do you think smart contract technology has progressed over the years, and what advancements are you most excited about?**

One of the most exciting advancements within the EIP for v4 is EIP-1153, which introduces transient storage to potentially reduce gas costs for users. PancakeSwap v4 leverages this EIP extensively, meaning retail users will pay less in gas fees to perform a swap in v4!

**7. Last one! What do you like to do when you need to take some time to relax from work?** 

Chefs have probably mentioned how quickly this space evolves and grows. Working in the kitchen means you need to adapt, learn, and sometimes deal with a pile-up of work.

To relieve stress, I like to work out. It helps break the monotony of sitting at a desk, and sometimes inspiration for solving problems strikes during these sessions! By the way, my nickname "Mist" and avatar are inspired by Demon Slayer. I'm really excited for the upcoming movie trilogy around the Infinity Castle arc!

**[Q1]: Can you explain the importance of using varied data from different groups in training AI models?**

Using diverse data from different groups makes sure AI models are fair and inclusive. If an AI is mainly trained on data from one specific group, it might unintentionally favor or disadvantage certain groups, causing biased decisions. By using varied data, we can create AI systems that are more balanced and representative, reducing the risk of bias and making sure everyone benefits from AI.

**[Q2]: How does OORT's decentralized approach to AI development differ from traditional centralized AI systems?**

OORT had its own layer one block chain solution with PoH (proof of honesty) consensus. So OORT is the native token on it’s blockchain

Now, we are building the bridge to have the chain interoperability with other chains. BSC is just the beginning.

It’s a great question. What is unique about OORT token is its utility and our burning mechanism. OORT had promised to burn up to 800 million tokens by using the profit that generated.

Also, for miners, they have to pay 60 dollars license fee to purchase OORT and burn it. We are building a deflating model on the token.

Bun and Kids emphasized the focus on high-quality teams and long-term value. New ideas are being drafted to make PancakeSwap the go-to launchpad, with further updates expected soon.

### Dual Trading Rewards Program - Why is it on the roadmap? 

Bun explained that the dual trading rewards program rewards loyal users with token incentives. The recent campaign allows users eligible for both CAKE lockers and frequent/large traders to claim rewards from both campaigns.

### CAKE Burns and Supply - Present and future

PancakeSwap effectively manages CAKE supply with a net negative monthly emission of approximately 1.9 million CAKE. 

Future plans include introducing more high-quality products and using revenue to buy back and burn CAKE tokens.
