PancakeSwap Prediction Market has expanded. In addition to BNB, users can now make predictions on Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) price movements every 5 minutes on BNB Chain.

How to Make a Prediction on PancakeSwap

1. Go to the Prediction section on PancakeSwap.

2. Choose the asset you want to predict: BTC, ETH, or BNB.

3. Join an Active Round: Each round lasts 5 minutes. Enter before it starts.

Predict whether the price of the selected asset will finish higher or lower than the starting price at the end of the 5-minute round by choosing UP or DOWN.

UP Position: You win if the closing price is higher than the locked price at the start of the round.

DOWN Position: You win if the closing price is lower than the locked price at the start of the round.

Note: If your prediction does not match the price movement, the prediction is lost.

4. Enter Your Prediction Amount.

Input the amount you want to predict (minimum 0.001 BNB). Confirm and sign the transaction in your wallet to place your prediction.

Note: All predictions must be placed using BNB.

5. Wait for the Round to Close

  • Each round lasts exactly 5 minutes during the live phase. Prize multipliers change based on the number of predictions placed on each side.
  • As more users join, the total prize pool grows in real-time and is displayed above the prediction buttons.

Example:

  • If the BTC price starts the round at $110,000 and you choose UP, and the price closes at $110,500 by the end of the round, your prediction is correct and you win a share of the prize pool.
  • If the multiplier for the UP position is 2.1x and you placed a $100 prediction, your total reward will be: $100 x 2.1 = $210 (minus a fixed 3% fee that contributes to the weekly token burn).

6. Collect Your Winnings

If your prediction is correct, you can claim your rewards instantly once the round ends. You can view and claim all previous rewards anytime via the History tab.
